Flight Lieutenant KEITH JAMES FARRER SERVICE NUMBER O31411

Shown here is Keith's service Award Mentioned in Despatches M.I.D. also displayed at this Australian War Memorial webpage . It says on page 204 of Keith's Service record (see below): "MENTIONED IN DESPATCHES FLIGHTS TO GREECE AND YUGOSLAVIA SUPPLY DROPPING." This was no doubt a critical mission and the meritorious part that Keith played in it.  

Keith served his country in the Royal Australian Air Force for many years. His pictures above are taken during and after WWII. They are found in his 210 page Service record which is available at the National Archives here ......by typing in his Surname, selecting from the drop down menu category: Air Force personnel records and Service number O31411. Pages 157, 158 show the M.I.D and also his dates with 458 SQN 14/9/1943 to 30/12/1944
